No fortunately we don't... A storm of the strength just like the one yesterday is very unusal in Germany. As I witnessed earlier it caused massive damage all around the town with uprooted trees lying everywhere, some houses have broken windows and basements are filled up with water... However I suppose you can't campare this with the damage a tornado would cause.

Tornado rearranged his display. His crotch rocket is now underneath the rear right tire of the vehicle he was trying to sell.

The vehicle he was trying to sell is now a double decker.

One local resident lost his car in the Brookside parking lot, with no part of it visible by noon today.

At Veenker Memorial Golf Course only a few holes where still visible.

the whole rating issue once again, and feel I might just say a little something about that.

First,I think its fine,even good, that some peeps do not concern themselves with the rate they might get.In one sense.

But what I see happening is a blatant disregard for the those who do happen to care.Now,whats wrong with that picture? I will tell you.

Its no news that we all have our rights..and our privileges. ...so what.

Dont even go there,its yesterday's news,and tired news at that.

Thing is,some dont care , its no big deal what they get rated.ok,fair enough.So are you going to strong arm others into following your belief on it?Imposing yourself like some little disease not everyone wants? You still insist on making light or fun of someone,just because they happen to feel differently?

Lets not forget here that some,do care..for more than one reason.Whether it be for gauging their art work in their own profile,or how their rating affects their coven's standing(not everyone thinks only of themselves)..they care.And its no one elses biz as to why.

It doesnt make them trivial,even though it might be the "internet"..that doesnt even matter.Trust me,most of us spend a great amount of time on this "internet"..mmhhmm,yes,you included.

Regardless,It doesnt make them an ass ,no matter how you might feel.So dont you think that you chould be just a little considerate towards their standing on that issue? If not,you might want to take a good look at yourself and your actions in how you treat others.And you wonder why they treat you so bad.

Parkersburg, IA - The tornado that hit Parkersburg, Iowa Saturday night was an EF 5, the strongest storm possible. The National Weather Service says winds hit 200 miles an hour.



The Iowa National Guard enforced an overnight curfew. Nearly half the town was damaged or destroyed by a tornado Saturday.



A seventh person has died, the number of injured now stands at fifty.



Action 3 News has learned a tornado siren installed ten days ago was only of only two in the town of 1,000. The new siren is in south Parkersburg, the part of town most severely damaged.



President Bush has declared Butler County a federal disaster area, making federal funds for cleanup and recovery.



A spokesperson for Iowa Governor Chet Culver says the National Guard and Iowa State Patrol will enforce the overnight curfew. During the day, a lockdown will remain in effect, only Parkersburg residents will be able to get in and out of town to collect what they can from their damaged homes. Donations to help the people of Parkersburg can be made through the Red Cross, call 319-234-6832 for information.



The tornado was the strongest in the United States since May 4, 2007 when an EF5 tornado destroyed Greensburg, Kansas killing eleven people.

I love the creativity and effort peeps put into their stamps,and I think the intent behind them is an honourable one.However,I couldnt think of what to say,for I am a woman of few words. When I was sitting here making mine,I decided on something.I would simply use my symbol and make a small mark.No,it isnt worth points, and I have no coven or house in which I head.If I bestow it upon you,it is just to let you know that I find something in your heart and soul that is honourable and true.It is a symbol that I will protect you if you have been wronged or hurt,and that I consider you my firend..Not in a sense that I might send a few little stormies their way as to get somekind of revenge..it doesnt work that way as far as Im concerned,for there are three sides to every story....,but more in a sense that I would support you.But again,not by making trouble for another,for it is not my duty to rectify the affairs of man. Please,never ask that of me. .but perhaps I could help keep you afloat in troubled waters.That is the humble protection I offer with this.

Usually when they call for tornadoes here it is only watches. This part of the Carolinas doesn't get many of them at all. A few years back, we had one that ripped through Madison, Mayodan, Stokesdale and Eden, NC, and it was devastating.



Well, last night, they ripped through Greensboro. It hit the airport and several homes not even 5 minutes from where I live. We didn't get any damage here, but we now all have to worry about more tornadoes following in its wake, and flooding as well as hail and severe thunderstorms.

One of the worse feeling ever..







You wake up and send you kid off to school with a kiss.Never forgetting to tell him you love him.Several minutes later,the sirens sound..alot of them...wayyyy too many.And odd feeling begins to creep over you.Fear so deep it almost makes you choke.The phone rings as you sip your coffee and you answer..You hear the words,then suddenly,you hear nothing.The coffee falls from your hand .







PENDLETON COUNTY, Ky. -- Rescue crews are responding to an accident in Pendleton County that involves a school bus.



Dispatchers had no information about the crash except that it occurred on Highway 22 West just northwest of Falmouth and involves a bus and a dump truck.



It's reported that there are injuries, but no information about them is available so far.



News 5 has a crew en route and will update as soon as possible.







(An hour or so later.One of the worst hours in my life)





Kentucky state police confirmed that one person was dead in the crash.



Ronald Hess lives near the crash scene. He told News 5 that he and his wife heard a thump, then silence.



Hess said he ran outside and found kids running off the bus, screaming and crying. He said the bus driver was saying that there was somone still on the bus and needed help.



Hess said it appeared that the truck hit the side of the bus as it passed, smashing down the length of the bus.



Video from Sky 5 showed that a gash has been torn along the windows on the left side from about the middle of the bus to the rear, where the left rear corner is torn away.



St. Elizabeth Hospital in Grant County said it took in 10 students, ages 5 to 16, and two adults. News 5's John London said the majority of the injuries are cuts and bruises, and eight of the students have already been released.
